Showing Up in the Quiet

I’ve been a little quiet lately.

Part of it was being sick.

But if I’m honest, part of it was something deeper… that feeling of wondering if I’m just putting things out into a quiet space.

Not a lot of feedback.

Just posting… and hoping it’s landing somewhere.

And I started asking myself those familiar questions:

Is this reaching anyone?

Does it even matter?

Should I be doing something differently?

It’s a vulnerable place to be… creating something meaningful and not always seeing it reflected back.

But then I had this moment of clarity.

Not everything that matters is loud.

Some things grow quietly.

Some things take time to be seen.

Some things are felt long before they’re ever spoken back.

And maybe this is part of building something real.

My book came from silence.

From things that weren’t seen, weren’t heard, weren’t acknowledged.

So it makes sense, in a way, that even now… the impact of it might move quietly at first.

That doesn’t mean it isn’t reaching people.

It just means it’s reaching them in ways I can’t always see.

So this is me showing up again.

Not because it’s loud.

Not because it’s validated.

But because it matters.

Even in the quiet.

🤍

If you’ve ever felt like you were creating something in the quiet, I see you.
